This simple privacy policy explains how TempMail.MX handles your data.

Encryption and Key Management

As soon as inbound email passes through Cloudflare's email infrastructure and is handed to our service, we encrypt the email subject, body, and all attachments using your account's public key stored in our database. Only the corresponding private key can decrypt your data.

Your private key is randomly generated during registration and is encrypted in your browser using a key derived from the password you set. The encrypted private key is stored on our servers solely for synchronization and delivery; we cannot decrypt it because we never receive your password. Decryption of your emails and attachments happens only in your browser.

No Password Storage

We do not store your password on our servers. Your password is never sent to us in a form that allows us to recover it.

Data We Process

• Encrypted email content and encrypted attachments, along with minimal metadata required for delivery and synchronization.
• Basic diagnostic logs necessary to keep the service running.

Deletion

Account deletion is not available because we do not store personal data beyond what is necessary to operate the service. If you wish to remove potentially identifying data, you can delete the email address you own; doing so permanently and irreversibly deletes all emails and attachments associated with that address.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or our website.
